I recommended Orbital for my book club.

Loved it myself, but I think I was the only one.

I tell you what, I've never been in a book club, but I joined one in London last week with some of my friends in the building that I work in when I'm over there.

And...

It was the most enjoyable experience.

Only about five of us were talking about the Book of Guilt.

And they all loved it, which is great.

But I felt great pressure to pick the book.

Is anyone in a book club?

If you're in a book club, you must feel enormous pressure to bring the book to the table.

And then they're all kind of going...

Oh God, did you have to suffer?

I wonder if they kind of bitch behind your back if no one likes it or do they say it to your face?

I'm reading The Nowhere Girl Says Teresa by Carmel Harrington who is a lovely person with the Monday Morning Book Club at Bantry Bookshop.
