Big breakdown penalties to kind of stymie the momentum.
That happened a lot.
They would kind of half break Bordeaux, but Bordeaux would scramble.
There was the Tommy O'Brien pass on the edge that was intercepted by Riasi.
There is a litany of, and Cullen talked about it up there,
The press conference table behind us is actually soaked with beer because the Bordeaux players came in and absolutely lashed beer all over the three delegates.
It was pretty cool, but it was a far more sober occasion when Leinster were in a little bit earlier.
But Leo Cullum was talking about the litany of chances.
They feel like they created enough in this game or had enough opportunities to be in a much tighter game and just didn't take them.
Now, I do think if you get into an opposition's territory 22, 11 times, you should come away with more than 19 points.
But the way the first half went and got away from them, it's hard to kind of move past that, isn't it?
I think the one moment, sorry to interrupt, the one moment, and it was Andy Dunne who said it to me here before the press conference, was when Leinster went to the corner and didn't get off the ground.
And he was reminding me that against Toulouse two years ago, that happened, they went to the corner, they repeated, didn't take the points, went to the corner,
and then the lineup didn't function and like you can't have that at this level and it's it's such that like that was at a point where they could you know how they scored there they just bring Bordeaux a little bit closer they stem the momentum that Bordeaux have built and you stay in the game you stay in the fight they kept talking about this moment by moment focus and staying in the fight that was obviously their team this week but I think that was a big moment in the game that we've probably
moved on from now because it got out of hand so much.
But if you stay with them, you've got a chance.
That's the only one I think that really is relevant because a lot of the ones after half-time are not so much.
Yeah, I'd be more like Leinster if they'd shown up and given more of what they planned to bring.
They might have had a chance.
I always thought, like, the problem that Leinster have is that in isolation, there is no shame in losing to this Bordeaux team because this is a great team.
