The Department of Justice and dozens of states accuse Live Nation of being a monopoly, shutting out competition, driving up ticket prices.
The massive antitrust case was originally brought under the Biden administration, but it is still happening.
Eric Gordon is a professor at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
He says there are competing currents in the Trump administration over antitrust enforcement.
Adding to the uncertainty, the DOJ's antitrust chief, Gail Slater, has just recently resigned.
But all that aside, this might actually be a good time for companies to think about mergers and consolidation.
