Now you come to them and say, I want to build a data center and right next to it, build a power plant.
Are they more excited or less excited?
That's exactly what I was saying when they were saying this.
But, I mean, it's sort of irrelevant because I view it as a fake proposal.
We're lying about the power.
I mean, I think it's a fake proposal.
I think it's an attempt to recognize, like they recognize this is a problem for them.
It's a real rub, you know, in areas where they have a lot of support.
There was, I think, a New York Times article about some Trump supporters who were like, I like what he's doing, but the status on his stuff is really bad.
This is a major issue for them, and they clearly have recognized it.
The reason I say it's a fake proposal is this is not something you can do with an executive order.
And so you're going to...
And think of what we're really talking about.
Okay, you're going to mandate tech companies to build power plants, a business they are not actually in, and they're all in this race to spin up as many data centers as fast as they can, and it's no holds barred in terms of complete deregulation.
And now you're going to add into this, and also you're going to... I mean, it's just... There's no way.
If the government was going to get involved and build out these...
power plants or whatever, maybe.
But yeah, this would be something that would have to go through Congress.
It would have to be a major proposal, all of that.
You would require significant compulsion from the federal government to get these AI companies to do it.
