And I also thought that I don't need to take, it's like my mom, this thing I got from my mom, you know, I don't take anything I don't need to take.
And I didn't understand, I just didn't understand that, you know, you don't get through the menopause, you stop having, you stop creating those hormones.
And once they've gone, they've gone.
You don't get through it.
It just stops.
It's your postmenopausal forever.
The doctor we worked with persuaded me to start trying HRT, and I did.
And it did, like, about three months.
Oh, for yourself?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, because, as I said, brain fog, joylessness, depression.
And I just accepted those things.
I thought it was part of the human condition that I should feel like this.
I thought it was because I was a writer.
I should be miserable.
You're just more emotional than most people.
Yeah.
And after about three months, it really kicked in and made a difference.
And I wanted to reflect that in the show.
