Because I got... Speaking of random gear chat... Speaking of random gear chat stuff...

before we get onto an actual topic about optics tonight, I got my Christmas present finally from commando store who were a little late on their shipping, but, um, it is a watch and I'm not a watch guy, but this is a, essentially it is a re production of a Soviet electronica watch and

which fun thing about planned economies, that electronica name is not a brand.

It is just what if the Soviet department of, I can't remember like consumer electrics or whatever it is.

I forgot the ministry off the top of my head.

If they decide that your factory is going to make a consumer product such as a watch, it just gets that electronica name slapped on it.

Same with calculators, same with a whole bunch of other stuff.

But so it has all modern movements in it for all the notch watch nerds out there.

I am not a watch nerd.

I wear a Casio and that's it.

And half the time I wear a Casio just because of planes, trains, automobiles.

And every time I see my dad and I'm wearing that Casio, I got, I got $4 and a Casio and it makes him laugh.

So I feel you.

I mean, basically it has, you know, it has the looks of a, you know, about 1970s, 1980s Soviet digital watch.

It's 24 hour only for you.

Military nerds out there.
