I ended up putting it on top of the FNAR I sold to buy my G3.
I kind of wish I'd held on to the optic because it would be useful right now.
My second experience with Prism Optics was an Elcan.
So I went from about as cheap as you could get back in the day to as expensive as you can get today.
I did some work and then traded labor for an AR, my current AR, with a 1.5 to 6x Elcan sitting on top of it.
And I was absolutely convinced this was going to be the holy grail of optics.
And then I discovered that 1.5X really sucks.
It is too awkward of a magnification range.
It is.
I would actually agree with that, because at least at 4X, or like with the 5X I had, you could do that binden, not biden aiming concept, binden aiming concept, essentially where you're bringing the rifle up, you're not using your, you know, at this point, the target's so close that you're...
Your sight picture is more or less blurry.
So you're kind of your brain superimposing what your left eye sees with the right blur, you know, the, you know, the, the illuminated reticle in the right eye and boom, you can shoot shit up close with 1.5 X. My brain was, my eyeballs were fighting each other for dominance.
It was really annoying.
Even my slightly squint my left eye to make my right eye do all the work wasn't working with that 1.5x.
I wish it was a 1-4.
Because if it was a 1-4 L can, I probably would have hung on to it.
All right.
So that moves us on to my current little prism I have, which I tip around to put a bow on it.
This is what I'm going to be mounting in lieu of that one to 10 LPVO on my AK, which is the primary arms micro 3X.
I kind of wish it was the 5X, but the 3X is what I already got.
