I loved A.J. Mitchell. I had a first round grade on A.J. to, you know, thought the Thunder were super lucky to get him at number 40 overall. I thought that he was a little bit more of an on-ball guy than what he has proven himself to be. I remember talking to him pre-draft and he was like, no, I feel pretty good shooting off the catch.

It's just I didn't have to do it at Santa Barbara because I was playing in the... He didn't say this, but he's playing in the Big West and he had to be so responsible for everything that they did that... he felt like he could shoot it at a real level. And he proved that in a big way. I thought that his defense was timely, rotationally. He's not a difference maker on that team defensively.
