Can't universally speak for everybody around the team, but there's a strong sense that there's a decline in faith in the organization's kind of, you know, strategy and soundness, if you will, that could mean that a bunch of these pieces are kind of quietly, you know, Looking off in the distance going, okay, this is probably not a long-term deal. So the biggest thing that is, again, by myself and others, probably a little underreported, is the contract mechanics that played a part here. By getting traded now, De'Aaron can now extend with the Spurs in July. I believe it's in July. It's six months from the trade. Right, right. If it waited until the summertime... He's got to wait until January. Now, I don't know.

I don't know if that moves the needle for you guys because it's like, all right, but if you know you're going to do it eventually, what's the rush? I think why do it now? And that was probably the number two reason. Number one reason would probably be because the level of urgency on the king side and the level of uncomfortableness within their locker room.
