So as a country, we are struggling a lot to conserve our nature, but we cannot do it alone.
We are over 2 million.
We have a population of 20 million.
Nearly 2 million of people are depending on the agriculture as their main way of life.
Now, because of the altering climate conditions and the harsh conditions of the climate and these natural disaster situations, floodings and those earthquakes makes lots of trouble on our farmers.
And of course, one million of people are depending on the fisheries industry in Sri Lanka.
So that's also affected so badly as people who are doing tourism.
Tourism is another kind of a sector.
It's badly affected from this kind of adverse conditions of the climate as well.
As a country situated in the middle of the world, as a country who's in the first victims of the climate change, we are facing lots of troubles and we are struggling a lot.
Usually, when it's come to the wildlife tourism sector, people visiting here to see the migrating birds.
So the migrating bird seasons are now changed.
Some migrating birds became residents of Sri Lanka.
So some stopped coming to this country forever.
Those are the things.
So it makes a chaos among the tourists.
They're questioning again if they need to come to Sri Lanka back again.
And of course, we are losing lots of populations of birds.
