a very deep farm system right and coming off of 2025 this is i don't want to say the lowest i've ever seen it but there were a lot more down arrows in the raise system last year than there were up arrows normally we're talking about them building depth and it felt like they lost some of that not because of graduations but just because of down performance and then when you look and you know brandon brandon allows available to be traded before he hits free agency that's a very raised move to make

They get a call about Shane Boz of like, hey, we're just going to throw prospects at you until you say no or that's enough.

It felt like they struck at the right moments to kind of build up this farm system a little bit more in a way that the Rays always need.

They always need multiple options at the really good spots at catcher, at shortstop, at center field.

And that's what they address with some of these moves.

Yeah, I mean, if they want to get Marte, and that's something that's been rumored, they are in a much better place to make that happen right now.
