And I always love him for that.

Last year was – it was sort of hard to judge –

him because i think people look at the numbers it was a 246 average 383 on base 430 slug that doesn't scream top 20 prospect right we haven't met number 20 on our top 100 he was dealing with an oblique injury and if you've ever swung with an oblique injury it's tough that is a difficult injury and even if you're doubting yourself for like half a second of like am i going to tweak it again that has some downstream effects

The approach is still really, really good.

As I said, the OBP was 383, so that's certainly going to play.

His swing is fast.

He's somebody who doesn't need to expand the zone.

He's like, come at me.

I will touch whatever you're going to throw, but I'm not going to expand the zone just to try to make contact.

I'm going to hunt for my pitch, and I think that

helps evaluators believe that he's somebody who can hit for a good average at the top level, show some pop there as well.

I think he's going to be an option for Cleveland in the first half.

I don't think he's necessarily competing for an opening day job.

Anybody who's got AAA experience, technically they are competing for that.

But I think one reason why going to WBC, competing for Australia, A,

He's going to be one of the best hitters they have for obvious reasons.
