You still have players that are misvalued all the time.

It's never going to be a solved problem, but teams have gotten smarter.

In terms of how the game's actually changed on the field, I think the biggest difference is if you look at where shots are taken from,

that's the biggest change where you see so many fewer shots and goals from outside the box now where you used to see players shooting from everywhere and as soon as you started putting numbers on it and saying okay that shot has a one percent chance of being scored that shot has less than a one percent chance of being scored one more pass and you can move that up to a 10 15 chance of being scored you see shots so much more concentrated around the goal and when players do decide to shoot from outside the box it's usually because there's an opportunity that wasn't there not just

there's 15 guys between me and the goal, and I'm going to try my luck with a shot from distance.

Yeah, so when I played in, when I was working for this data company in London, we had a team with the company that I was working at, and every time that someone would shoot from outside the box, everyone gives them such a hard time because we all know we shouldn't be doing it, but it's harder to get out of your own game than it is to tell other people what to do.

Yeah, I think that the biggest issue with MLS right now, if you look at 1-5 on all the rosters, it's a really, really high-level league now.

If you compare 1-5 with the Mexican League, I think... You mean the top five players?

The top five players on every team.

I think if you look across there, we're probably on par or higher than the average Mexican League team on that top five.

You look at 5-10...

We're probably about comparable with the Mexican League.

You look at 10 to 20, and that's where the Mexican League blows us out of the water.

So I think that the MLS is doing a good job of attracting... I mean, you just look at the players that have come in over the past two or three years.

Like, top, top talent wants to play here.

So is that to blow up the salary cap?

I think something needs to change the salary cap.
