And they would often have been, if we look at a kick to carry ratio, for a lot of teams, it'll be about seven.
So they'll carry seven times and kick once.
For England, they were looking in some games at less than two.
So they were kicking once and carrying like 1.8 times.
So that's an incredibly extreme example.
Now, they were basically successful.
They got to the final of that World Cup.
And a lot of that was simply through, I guess, just kind of limiting mistakes.
They don't allow oppositions a chance to count on them.
They make the tackles.
They steal possession.
And then if it's on, they'll go.
If it's not on, they'll just kick it away immediately and give the ball back to the opposition.
If we compare that to someone like, to be honest, at Munster, actually, when they won the URC a couple of years ago, their carries were kind of off the chart.
Huge amounts of carries, very little kicking.
Bristol Bears actually would be another example.
They're probably the modern day Fiji that we remember from a few years back.
So what they're saying is, we believe we're better carrying from anywhere on the pitch.
Because if we carry from our own half, you have to drop men back.
So carrying is better for us.
