because you're the good side, you don't concede many points and therefore people think this is an amazing offense.
But I don't know if we really actually have a good idea about who are the good coaches and who are the bad coaches.
Like, we do see a lot of fluctuation.
So, like, last year, 14.1 points conceded.
This year, 21.1.
But this year, they're still the third best team in the URC by points conceded, which is perhaps lower than you'd expect from a team like Leinster.
But it's relative.
It's good.
But they are conceding an entire converted try more per game this year than last year.
And so things like that, they are volatile.
And you see from one game to another, a team that was very effective defensively now concedes 50 points.
You saw that in the last two games of the Six Nations for France.
They kind of scraped over the line but conceded the best part of 100 points in two games.
So I think that volatility is something that perhaps we don't pay enough attention to maybe.
I think it's really difficult because I think fundamentally what I learned and what Leinster did a few years ago.
So I'd say one of the big things was like how they plan their attacks off goal line dropouts or 22 dropouts, which...
is now done by a lot of a lot of teams actually you know further down the pyramid as well but that was really revolutionary when they did it i think part of that is when you have total dominance you can afford to then go okay we we don't need to constantly nail our lineup which is getting 100 basically anyway so let's spend the time that we would have done on that on this new thing that we've not done before and we'll push the game forward that way
But you kind of then just show the way for everyone else.
So if you're some lower level URC team, you can just look at lengths and go, okay, well, we're not going to have enough time to focus solely on this, but basically you run to the middle of the pitch or you run to the 15s off the goal line dropout.
We'll go one phase to the right and then we'll try and catch them off guard going back to the left.
