He's out there and he's capable of murdering, I think.
I was convinced if he had gone through all that trouble that there was gonna be no end unless he was behind bars.
The detectives let us know that he's been found and arrested, and it was safe if I wanted to return to my home.
And I felt this weight lifted off of me, like, okay, he's not gonna hurt my friends and family and me, and I don't know what's gonna come next, but they caught him.
Well, you weren't in the woods at 7.
He didn't want to leave hair behind, so he tried to chemically remove a bunch of his hair and it had a bad skin reaction.
We had been in touch with the prosecutor's office, and Christopher was set to be arraigned.
And so Robin and I streamed the arraignment
There on my TV screen in my living room, seeing him in that orange jumpsuit and hearing my name and hearing the actual crimes he was charged with, you know, they were very heavy words.
I charged Christopher Thomas with kidnapping, home invasion first, torture, aggravated stalking, and four counts of criminal sexual conduct, first degree.
