I found school a bit boring.
We were given Catcher in the Rye to read, which is a slim book.
So I went home and I read it, fully prepared to discuss it the next day.
I had a discussion with my dad about it in the morning.
I went in and realized they were going to read it one word at a time all year.
So I thought, you know, I'll come back when they finished.
I'll go find something else to do.

So I used to hang out at the local theatre.

Sometimes I ashamed to say I took the train up to the city.
We were in a suburb called Marmaroneck, which is a suburb of New York City, and I would take the train up and sneak into a matinee.
