Hey, how are you?

As a little kid, my mum... So my mum left my dad when I was born.

No, my dad left my mum, sorry, when I was born.

And that hit her pretty hard and she turned to drugs as a way to cope with him leaving.

And she had four kids, myself, my twin sister, my older brother who was two years older and my older sister who was six years older than myself and my twin.

And, you know, that was pretty rocky through that period.

We didn't have a lot of safety around us.

We were moving through housing commission and caravans and whatever we could to just have a home or a roof over our head.

And so I didn't know much.

I didn't learn much about relationships at that point, just what it meant to keep yourself safe and secure.

Yeah, multiple.

So there were... I think she was probably with a new person each year after that.

It was...

probably related to her drug habit, you know, who could, one, probably get her access to drugs and also who could stop other people from harming her while she was there, even though those people she was with were also harmful.
