How does that play into the measurements you're taking with a sextant?

What happens though, Will, if you're out at sea and it's cloudy and you can't get a reading off a star or the sun, what can you do then?

So do young sailors today not learn those skills the way you did?

When you are involved in one of these great ocean races, Will, as the navigator, what's your day look like?

If you're having to take in all that information, the weather information, assessing the winds, all of that, does that mean you're on call all the time?

How do you do that in the middle of a boat with noise and other people and I'm not imagining a king-size bed or any other comforts?

How do you get yourself to switch off so quickly?

I guess I should ask if there's coffee on board to assist in this.

Have you become pretty good at sizing someone up quickly in terms of how they might fit with other characters on a boat?

When you're not poring over your computer and navigation charts and weather information, I'm guessing you get to spend a lot of time looking at the sea in terms of those longer races.
