Despite the Nisha call, despite the Leakin Park cell tower evidence, despite Jay knowing where Hay's car was, I confess to having reasonable doubt about whether Adnan killed Hay.

I'm not talking about the courtroom kind.

I'm talking about the normal person kind.

Obviously, a trial isn't built to hold the stories Adnan or anyone tells about his life.

So his lawyer, Cristina Gutierrez, had to figure out another way to encourage reasonable doubt.
