This ended up saving my life because he, as he said, if this boy is not in surgery in the next couple of hours, he'll bleed out.
So, yeah, I was internally bleeding and lost quite a few litres of blood.
But they cut me open and the scar is about a foot long and these days it would be, you know, keyhole.
But maybe that was the urgency of needing to get it out.
Whatever it was, yeah, I've got a ridiculous scar now and no spleen.
Yeah, it's actually, it seems like there's more and more research to show that the spleen is a pretty important part of your immune system.
So yeah, not having it as, it makes me more susceptible to colds and viruses and bacteria.
