But, yeah, look, as we all have loved ones who have crossed over that threshold, who have died, and I feel like...
They're there still.
I talk to mum still within myself if I have problems and it feels as though she can answer.
I feel beautifully haunted by her ever since.
Thank you, Sarah.
Pleasure.
My guest on Conversations today is Colin Hay.
Colin was the front man for Men at Work, who at one point were the biggest rock band in the world.
Men at Work songs were everywhere in the 1980s.
It even got to the point where some US radio stations would schedule Men at Work free days.
But after three albums, the band broke up and that crazy fame vanished as quickly as it came.
And Colin Hay began a whole new life in music.
When I spoke to Colin back in 2018, he began by playing a beautiful song, Overkill, which was one of Men At Work's biggest hits.
Colin, that accent of yours is sounding as magnificent as ever.
Can you picture the house in Scotland where you grew up?
What led them to buying a music shop?
Was it?
Was it like being in a, next best thing to being in a candy shop or something?
Do you remember your dad playing particular music in that shop?
Like were there records going as well as selling instruments?
