If it gets thrown out of court, that's not your truth.

Like don't place your worth and your story on the court process.

I think a lot of people probably feel like they're not listened to, they're not believed because they report it and the person's not charged because there's no evidence.

But I would say go and report it anyway because next time that perpetrator does something, at least it's there in the system and you've done it for yourself and you've taken your power back a little bit.
