The reluctance to release them that could well include a lot of perfectly reasonable reasons like protecting the victims or protecting the process that is normally part of how the justice system works.

We've talked about a lot of times how Trump has a high floor and a low ceiling when it comes to his approval ratings.

And this is something that Democrats are happy to continue to try to pressure him on.

And it certainly puts him on the defensive.

And if that keeps him talking about this and his approval ratings in the mid to high 30 percent range, Democrats will take that as a win.

Yeah, I mean, he does not want to have to deal with this.

And just as a piece of evidence to back that up, President Trump typically almost every day of the week takes questions from the press multiple times.

He has not taken questions from the press since this latest tranche of documents came out.

There have been multiple opportunities.

Didn't happen.

There was a White House press briefing on Wednesday.

It was extremely short.
