And so this one, it almost seemed like teams were out sooner, if that made sense.

And so it really prevented that, like just going out with teams.

whatever um you actually did have that motivation and i think that it made for everything to be more exciting like i think our fans were engaged too like obviously we're not pushing for a playoff spot but i really think it engaged our fans because we have the opportunity to win and get the first overall pick well i can attest to that sarah and i you know i knew about the gold plan but i'd never really followed a team that was involved in it and it absolutely made me really excited and the moment where you guys win was like an incredible moment at the end of a season where

I think it's a lot of fun, and I hope that the rules that we've implemented in the TWHL level expand through leagues across the world.

That's not just saying the NHL or leagues in Europe professionally.

Even in minor hockey, think of how cool it would be in youth sports or NCAA hockey, kids growing up, to be able to do a jailbreak.

I think that that's pretty cool in a new and innovative way to rewrite the rulebook.

I think that it'll be cool to see our rules filter down into different systems.

It's a lot.

I don't think that we were expecting expansion in year three, but I think after the expansion in year three, we all knew that it was probably going to come very quickly afterwards.

So I don't think that any of us were surprised that they were going to expand.

I think maybe the amount of teams was the biggest point of surprise.

I think that it's great for the growth of women's hockey throughout the

North America and also globally.

But it's definitely a lot.

It's kind of crazy to think that we didn't have a league three or four years ago.

And here we are already expanding to 12 teams.

I read an article that I think it took the NHL like 50 years to expand to 12 teams.

So we definitely have completely surpassed that.

Yeah, I definitely feel I'm very grateful to be in this privileged position where I'm not on phone calls anymore and kind of having that stress and anxiety.
