We were talking about alignment, and now we've seen Adam Foote get moved out.

And we spoke quite a bit last season, and even last year going back to the beginning parts of the season, about all the problems the Canucks had on ice and executing their systems and how porous they were defensively and how hard a time they had as a group through all the turmoil to play proper hockey.

And we spoke with Woodley quite a bit over the course of the year about what he saw in that environment.

And the word environment and how bad it was is something we spoke about quite a bit.

So none of us are surprised that Adam Foote has been let go as the Canucks head coach.
