Before we get to some Canucks stuff, I just wanted to get your thoughts on what's happening in the Stanley Cup final.

Like we'll get to some stuff around Jake DeBrusque and some rumors percolating out of Ottawa coming up in a moment.

But the biggest event of the entire sporting calendar for the National Hockey League is the Stanley Cup final.

But oftentimes or sometimes the final is a bit of a dud.

This has been anything you could have ever hoped for when it comes to a Stanley Cup final.

It was the most lopsided game of the series last night.

It's a two-goal decision.

And it's only two-goal because of an empty netter.

Exactly.

And even the goal that Jordan Stahl scored that was a game winner was... I mean, it's a great effort, but you talk about grinding it out and just banging pucks in, essentially.

That's what he did.

And I can't think of a better showcase for the NHL, especially when you think of it as...

Two non-traditional markets.

Vegas has become a strong market.

But Carolina, of course, is still one that's not a huge market.

Their fans are obviously on board and they've been to a few Stanley Cup finals.
