Listen, MLS has come a long way.
It's a great product.
It's a lot of fun.
But it's not even a top five league in the world.
Well, it's not the World Cup.
No, exactly.
That's my point.
It's like there is the leagues.
The World Cup is like the number one entity, right?
In soccer, it's like the global... Even if you look at the leagues, Champions League, the World Cup is number one.
And then you can look at it and say, well, is it a league?
Is it Champions League?
Whatever it is, it kind of goes through that list.
And MLS is so far down the list that you can't look at it and say, well...
How come MLS isn't taking off?
And it's like, well, part of it is it is starting to take off because you've seen what happened here over the past year with the team actually being good and inspiring the market.
But you're comparing the absolute pinnacle of the sport to one that's like several tiers below it.
So I think it's a lot different from that standpoint.
But it's also one of those things you look at and say, if BC Place can look this good for this event with real grass...
How come we can't make this work with the Whitecaps?
