That's exceeding expectations to me.

You know, I think if we're sitting in a situation next season, if the Canucks don't have a top, say, 6-7 pick, I think that's disappointing.

And I'm not saying go out and lose on purpose.

And like, if good things happen, you can look at it.

But I think big picture wise, to your point, is making the playoffs better for the team.

I think having another high pick is what's most important for the team one way or another.

But how you view expectations being exceeded comes down to what your expectations for next season are in the first place.

Before we get out, as we mentioned a bit earlier, it looks like Darren Hermiston, who is a player agent, is joining the Vancouver Canucks front office in some capacity, whether it's AGM or like Dolly Wall is mentioning, Director of Player Development and Player Performance.

Does that come with an AGM title?

Regardless, it looks like Darren Hermiston, who lives in Kamloops, according to Dolly Wall, is going to be joining the front office in some capacity.

We don't know exactly on the title and how everything's going to fall into place.

I'm sure we'll get some clarity from the club here in the next, whether it's tonight or tomorrow, when this announcement does come down.

And obviously Jessica Campbell was somebody that Elliot Friedman mentioned could be coming to Vancouver in some capacity as well.

So those pieces are slowly starting to fall together in the Canucks front office and also the coaching staff.
