That would mean that your rebuild is on the right track and it may not take seven, eight years or five plus years.
That's exceeding expectations to me.
Yeah, the Canucks will benefit mostly by having a high pick next year again.
You know, I think if we're sitting in a situation next season, if the Canucks don't have a top, say, 6-7 pick, I think that's disappointing.
And I'm not saying go out and lose on purpose.
And like, if good things happen, you can look at it.
But I think big picture wise, to your point, is making the playoffs better for the team.

Does that come with an AGM title?
Regardless, it looks like Darren Hermiston, who lives in Kamloops, according to Dolly Wall, is going to be joining the front office in some capacity.
We don't know exactly on the title and how everything's going to fall into place.
I'm sure we'll get some clarity from the club here in the next, whether it's tonight or tomorrow, when this announcement does come down.
But the Canucks are putting the pieces together, Vic.
We still have to find out who the next associate assistant head coaches are going to be for Manny's staff.
And obviously Jessica Campbell was somebody that Elliot Friedman mentioned could be coming to Vancouver in some capacity as well.
So those pieces are slowly starting to fall together in the Canucks front office and also the coaching staff.
Yeah.
I don't know.
