yeah a lot of smart folks over there yeah absolutely I mean we've seen over the years right so I think it's one of those things that can be positive especially if guys come in and have success but something to keep an eye on and the next thing is what does the front office looks like sorry the coaching staff look like and I would still wonder if bringing somebody in with some level of head coaching experience would be beneficial whether that's going to happen or not remains to be seen but that's what I'm really curious about is what is that coaching staff going to look like
Yeah, and I think that's the big part, the alignment part.
And that's something that, you know, Manny spoke a lot about and so did RJ and the Sedins.
And it seems like these, I mean, you would imagine if they're coming in together that they have alignment in terms of being hired.
The question is, how do you maintain that alignment?
I think that's the challenge as time goes on.
Can you stay aligned on your plan and your execution of that plan?
Yeah, and I think that's a challenge.
And like we talked about before, there are a lot of positives, a lot of things to like.
But as we mentioned right off the top, it's like these are the easy parts.
These are like the layups, the honeymoon phases.
We can all be excited and there are a lot of things to like.
It comes down to that execution and ultimately how you get through it.
And can you maintain that camaraderie and that togetherness through the struggles and the ups and downs?
Because the reality is the Canucks are going to lose trades.
They're going to lose.
They're going to miss on draft picks.
They're going to make mistakes.
That happens.
Players are going to fail to develop.
