Would she be in line to potentially be the head coach of the Abbey Canucks?
Because we know there's an opening there as well.
But that's the first name we've heard coaching-wise that could either...
be part of Manny's staff potentially or be maybe part of being the head coach of the Abbey Canucks.
And again, we don't know 100% how that may fall into place.
And trying to ask around about, you know, what do we think about Jessica Campbell and what she can do and what her acumen is like.
And it's interesting because...
it's always hard to evaluate assistant coaches.
Because like, from the outside looking in, especially on a team like Seattle where things went awry, like how much of that falls on an assistant coach, you're kind of at the mercy of what people tell you that you kind of hear about.
And it's kind of like, you know, I haven't heard too many bad things.
I haven't heard too many great things.
So I'm not exactly sure what to make of whether she would be a good fit or not, but I do generally believe that people think that she's a smart special teams coach, that she has some good ideas from the power play.
So I would imagine if she comes to be part of the Canucks staff, that might be her area of expertise.
So I see people have a lot of opinions and I know how it goes sometimes when we're talking about these sort of things and a lot of it has made me roll my eyes.
Nobody truly knows yet.
You know, if you're trying to figure out who is a good assistant and who's not,
Like people thought Kevin Dean was going to be this great defensive assistant and not that he was problematic, but we saw the Canucks have a lot of issues, right?
So it's one of those things.
It's always hard to evaluate those assistant coaches and whether they're going to be fits or not until you see them come into action potentially with your current organization.
