When you're the GM and you're the big boss, you got to deal with so many other things that come at you.
So you have to delegate a lot of responsibilities.
So hiring the one individual could be positive, but it's about how that individual fills out the entire staff and how robust that staff is in terms of executing their plan that makes it a successful group or not.
And that's something that obviously is going to take some time to fill in overall.
I know people are asking the question, this one unsigned, could Johnson be the VP for a year with Rutherford mentoring him before taking over as president while Gold would be the GM?
I mean, again, I'm not saying these things are not possible, but who's the boss?
And if Evan Gold's coming in... Right, who's... But if Evan Gold is coming in... That was a 1980s TV sitcom reference for those.
Also Angela, but nevertheless.
Yeah, that's good.
But does Evan Gold, again, I think unless you sit both guys down and they hit it off or whatever, like, hey, we can work together.
We're moving forward here and we're doing this successfully.
Or you're looking at it and you're saying, would Evan Gold come to a place where somebody else is above him?
And who's the boss?
You can say this person has a VP title, but who's actually the boss?
Who's the key hockey ops decision maker?
And based on what Rutherford said, the GM is going to be that guy.
So if they hire someone to be the GM, are you going to promote someone above that?
You could, but are you then... How solid do you feel as the GM that's coming in?
And also, if you're RJ, it's like, well, you're above him, but you're not going to be the key hockey op decision maker.
