Let's say next year he scores 20 goals and gets 50 points.

Probably still a second round pick.

So I think the value is probably around a second and another late pick or somewhere along those lines unless he really explodes, right?

So if you're getting that type of value and you're not sure on keeping him beyond the next two years because he may not fit the window, I would consider it.

But I'm a big Linus Carlsen fan.

I would love to see him play here next year and keep getting better and still explore it.

But that would probably be my price.

Well, he does have a profile that I wouldn't say is hard to find, but a bigger body, good net front, good along the walls.

Not a power forward in the traditional sense, but does play that power, dirty, gritty game.

That's the type of player you generally win with.

The question with Linus Carlsen is, does he have enough foot speed to truly play in the top six?

Because he's a guy that he's done really well playing like 12, 13 minutes a game.

He can play on the second unit power play.

But this past year, when he got elevated and played bigger minutes, he had a hard time keeping up with the pace.
