She probably figured, let me figure this out first, handle it here, call the hospitals, do what I can, and then and only then will I bring Savannah in.
And it also made sense how she explained that maybe this was a medical episode is what their first thoughts went to.
Yeah, because they said, you know, why else would someone be missing in the middle of the night?
And she's 84 years old.
She had health problems.
To hear her talk about her mom's condition was also really sad because she just talked about what poor health her mom was in, just that she was in pain.
She needed medication.
And she said on a good day, she could walk to the mailbox.
That's as far as she could get.
So the thought would be, yeah, maybe she had an emergency and she called 911 and she's at a hospital somewhere.
Well, that idea that they didn't or she pieced it together.
This makes sense when she said it.
But she said the reason, yes, she was in bad health, but they actually thought she might have been in the middle of the night taken to a hospital because the back doors were propped open.
There was blood on.
The front porch, it looked like, well, she transported out of here because she had an issue and she wasn't able to call anybody.
And she's at a hospital somewhere.
So they start calling around.
I thought about that.
I don't remember the police being that clear about, yeah, we had doors propped open.
They certainly weren't talking about the blood initially.
