What do you think, Erica?
Well, I mean, I think all of these things are true.
I think that affordability is a big part of it.
I think that feminism certainly has had a major detrimental impact for decades against, you know, starting families in your 20s when women are most fertile.
I saw an article or maybe, I don't know, it was an ex-post maybe by somebody.
It might have been Stefan Molyneux replying to it or something.
about how you maybe you can have it all but you should basically have kids first and then the career and that works but if you try it the other way it really doesn't work because if you wait till your late 30s or 40s it's really not easy to have a kid and I think feminism
And even scientists have kind of lied to women about that and said, oh, yeah, you can wait if you need to.
You can freeze your eggs.
And that doesn't work.
You do get less fertile as you get into your 30s.
It gets worse as you go and even worse in your 40s.
And you reach the point where you just can't have kids anymore.
And, you know, if you do it the other way, you've got plenty of time to have a career.
I mean, my wife went back to work after she had kids.
Um, you know, she had a nice college education.
She had some work experience before that.
She took a long break.
She actually mostly, you know, it didn't work at all while the kids were little, um, until they were really in like high school and college.
So she took a long break and she still was able to get a job with Harvard.
