In Africa, malaria is one of the top killers of young children.

In the last two years, 24 African countries have rolled out new malaria vaccines.

Scott Gordon is at Gavi, which helps low-income countries afford vaccines.

The new price is for the malaria vaccine called R21 Matrix M. It will mean $90 million in savings over the next five years.

That will be used to purchase more doses and protect an additional 7 million kids.
