we actually got into the on-track stuff, the really good bits.
And it's been a fascinating day on track, isn't it?
All of that stuff about Ferrari being favourite, for once, proven right.
They've actually lived up to the hype so far.
What I absolutely love about the Monaco weekend is how everything's just this kind of big build-up from the very first lap of FP1 to that critical moment, as you say, in Q3 in qualifying.
And it's brilliant because I think it's the only weekend all year where every single practice session matters.
Pretty much every run matters.
And pretty much every run's a qualifying simulation.
Like every run is a qualifying lap to a greater or lesser extent.
Even the runs on the hards at the start of FP1.
So you just see this narrative form through the day, which is brilliant.
So you could see really early in FP1 or Ferrari off to a strong start here.
And then with each run, as FP1 goes on, FP1 finishes, FP2 starts, FP2 goes on, FP2 finishes.
It just crystallizes more and more and more.
That pace for the Ferrari is real.
And it's not just the engine.
It's the stuff we've talked about with the car maybe being more favourable, short, sharp direction changes, that sort of thing.
Because if you look in the midfield, for example, Haas isn't miles clear of everybody in the midfield just because it's got the Ferrari engine and that small turbo is really punchy off the corners here.
OK, Cadillac's just ahead of Aston, but that's because Aston Martin's in a particular world of pain this weekend.
