Yeah, I think we're going to get to the good and the bad.
I think an extra good is the ESPN app making replays much, much easier to watch nowadays.
I watch this at 7.30 in the morning with Quinn in my arms.
So maybe she was a retroactive good luck charm.
I'm going to go with that.
But yeah, it was very nice that I was able to watch the game on replay a few hours later.
I think it's the first game I haven't watched live in freaking years.
Probably not going to be the last with a newborn at home, but such is life.
Continuing to make us very, very jealous with all these pictures he's sending.
I think there's a big segment of Duke fans who watched the opening minutes of this game and said, oh crap, here we go again.
It was another slow start, and I'm sure we'll talk about that more in the bad, but the reason I bring it up is it wasn't a defensive slow start.
Some of the slow starts we've had over the last month or so have really been lackluster defense.
And that was not the case last night.
That was offensive turnovers.
We'll talk about that, I'm sure, in the bad as we talk about the free throws.
But the defense was really strong from the get-go.
It was just a little bit obscured by some of the offensive issues that we eventually ironed out.
What I really was encouraged by is it seemed to me like this was a big John Shire adjustment game.
And the adjustment that he made was, we've been struggling on defense.
We're going to simplify things down a little bit.
