He's 6'7".
He has good positional size.
He shoots 38% from beyond the arc.
And he takes a heck of a lot of threes.
But that's pretty much all he does.
He's not a take you off the dribble.
He's not attacking the rim very often.
He's not taking many twos.
He's a very one-dimensional player.
Same thing with their starting bigs.
And they do have non-trivial size down low.
John Camden...
6'8", 220, a fifth-year guy is their nominal four, but he is essentially a stretch four and a stretch four only.
He shoots 36% from three, which is great, but a massively disproportionate amount of his shots are from three.
He is not a guy, by all accounts, who has much of a post-game performance.
who's going to use his 6'8", 220 size to take you to the rim.
And none of his defensive metrics jump off the page either.
So in both Bell and Camden, you have guys who have good size on paper, but in practice seem to be really shoehorned into the role of floor spacers and shooters.
The last guy who's always relevant is the center in the opposition, you know, is Duke fans.
