I mean, in 1979, getting fingerprints at the scene would have been really, really helpful because that was what the technology brought to crime solving was fingerprints, is being able to not only get them off of a shell casing or getting them off of a vehicle, but they could yield a potential suspect. That wasn't going to happen here. They had nothing to go by. So you're right.
