And the timing there, if you look at the events, King Robert the Bruce had just been excommunicated by the Roman Catholic Church for killing a priest inside of a church.
And he didn't care.
He was the perfect outpost.
But there's also a tradition of information that goes back in Scotland all the way back to Jesus and Mary Magdalene.
So it's not a coincidence that's where the Templars escaped to.
That's where they brought their treasures to.
There are many pervasive legends in Scotland, both through Masonic tradition and other traditions that talk about the Templars being there.
One of the greatest stories that people have talked about is at the Battle of Bannockburn.
In 1314, where the Scots defeated the English in the greatest historical battle in the history of Scotland, that there were Templar knights that helped them turn the tide of the battle in favor of the Scots.
And that story's true.
It did happen.
And because of that, the Scottish earls, because of their service at Bannockburn and this great victory over the British, the Scottish earls were then obligated to protect those Templar knights and their descendants.
And they did that from 1307 all the way to 1395 and 1398 when those treasures were then brought over to Nova Scotia.
into the Great Lakes region and farther south in what is now...
the United States.
So most of those treasures were buried in Canada.
But at that time, there were no political borders.
It was just the Western lands is what they called it.
So when you start to put this whole story together and you compare it with the historical narrative, as you brought up, Chris, I call him Chris, the guy that never set foot on the land we now call the United States of America.
And he was a horrible person.
