And if you want to go through the line and become the master of the lodge, you can do that.
That's not my path.
I'm a researcher, and I'm traveling all the time, so you have to be there to do that.
And I respect and I honor that, but it's just not what I'll probably ever do.
But if you want to seek additional light—light is a code word for knowledge—
There's a couple of paths that you can pursue.
One is the Scottish Rite, which builds off the Blue Lodge.
So the first degree of the Scottish Rite is the fourth degree.
And it goes all the way up to 29 degrees plus three is 32.
And then there's a 33rd, which is honorary.
And if you even talk about it, you won't get it.
So we're not going to talk about it.
But that's the Scottish Rite path.
But then there's also what we call the York Rite path.
And again, that builds off the Blue Lodge.
So the first degree is the fourth degree.
There's a total of 10 degrees.
Beyond that, plus the Blue Lodge is a total of 13.
And it's divided up into three groups, the Royal Arch, the Cryptic Council, and then the chivalric degrees, which is Knights Kadosh, Knights of Malta, and then Knights Templar.
and then you're knighted as a Templar.
