And at 45 degrees is the only place where it's the actual correct diameter of the earth.

There is exactly, on the summer solstice, 8 hours and 22 minutes of darkness.
On the winter solstice, there is exactly 8 hours and 22 minutes of daylight.
You can't make it up.
Can't make that up.
Fact.
That is why the Templars would try to stay as close to the 45-degree parallel as much as possible so they could have the most accurate astronomical measurements because that's the accurate distance diameter of the Earth.
