And the second I had him, I have him in the book doing this big rant about how much he hates punk music because, you know, it's set in the 70s and 80s.
He's, I'm going to have to do this punk music.
I hate punk music.
And he goes on this big screed.
I think the second I settled on that was that I know exactly who this guy is.
And sometimes that's what it is.
You have to get a... It's almost you get the passport to the character.
And from there, it's usually... It's quite easy.
Sometimes it literally can feel like they're writing it for you.
Yeah, that's right.
So there's definitely a...
The mystery element is kind of always there.
So even in chapters where you're like, you've forgotten this disappearance of this character.
So I should mention Monica Logue is this big Hollywood actress.
Maybe imagine a sort of a Julia Roberts or a Cate Blanchett, someone who's
coming from America maybe she wants to have for sort of TV prestige bona fides and so she's coming back she has Irish roots herself and she's there you see her in an early chapter Dermot meets her and then
Everyone else is just wondering where she's gone.

She comes up, she surfaces.
