I thought based on that BTS that I saw that we were getting pure down-the-middle He-Man lore.
And I actually think it was a good choice even if it doesn't always work.
And that's basically where I net out on this movie at large.
I had fun with it.
It's wildly flawed.
It's way too long.
It only hits its jokes at like a 33% hit rate.
The other thing that I'll say is just because of this movie arriving at this time in my life, if they nailed one specific thing, it was going to get me to feel big feelings, which is that in Nicholas Galitzine and specifically with transforming into He-Man,
They just – they did it.
Like they did it and I just felt chills.
I felt tears filling my eyes.
I was like this is the realization of a little boy's dream that Dolph Lundgren could never possibly live up to.
That doesn't mean the movie is good.
I think it's got a ton of problems.
But it gave me a feeling that I wanted it to give me.
And so I just want to foreground our dissection of this property with that expression.
Right.
I wasn't either.
Yeah, I think actually a lot of the construction of that and the way that it sort of resolves in the final act of the movie is quite clever.
Yes.
