I know you've been down on them, especially over the last couple weeks.
It's understandable.
You know, the schedule was brutal and there were a lot of Eastern Conference teams playing well.
But you got to remember these teams that they're in direct competition with.
We saw it last night with the Islanders.
We're going to see it tonight against the Red Wings.
We've seen the Blue Jackets fall off a bit.
These other teams that are competing against are not that good.
And they banked enough points to stay two points ahead, three points ahead, four points ahead in games.
crucial junctures like that.
It's, it's, and now is that as part of that?
Cause the, the loser's point.
Absolutely.
But it all counts, man.
And I think, you know, when you look at the competition and you look at it, uh, again, the Columbus and Detroit's and Islanders of, of, of the world, Boston, whatever, these are really flawed teams.
And I think the fact that they stayed far enough ahead of them, you know, really throughout the course of the season to give themselves a workable bumper coming into the stretch run.
I think, uh,
it gave me some degree of faith in, in them getting it done.
And, you know, last night was a huge part of that.
If they lose regulation to the, to the Islanders, we're having a completely different conversation, right?
