No, I think that there is a huge variance in AK quality and there are some that are downright dangerous and there are some, they're great.
And, uh, I do not know where this falls, but I, I don't have any personal experience with Riley defense, but, uh, everything I see and hear about them is that they are, uh, not on the great end.
I think there are a lot of poorly built American AKs.
I think that's the problem.
That could be a headspace issue.
I think 7.62x51 and 3.08 headspace ever so slightly differently.
7.62 NATO is, like Jeremy said, the lower pressure of the two, so that's kind of interesting.
But if you know someone with some headspace gauges, I would probably check that and do it properly, like pull your ejector out and see what happens.
