My advice would have been to keep his mouth shut. I am never a fan of clients talking early because what ends up happening is we go back in history and we look at the Cassie video. And that's a publicist team who came to his rescue. Nobody believed the statement. Nobody believed what he said. And as the criminal defense lawyer, If he chooses to take the stand that now can be used against him, you have lied. You lied to the public. You lied to everybody about your involvement. And had the video not came out, you would have kept lying. What else are you going to lie about?
