Yes, and the Pacers were the other team, which is interesting because obviously they are without their best player due to a serious injury.

That doesn't really qualify as tanking, but Utah had some of their best players not playing fourth quarters of games.

Obviously, it's in the best interest of these teams to try to get the best draft picks possible.

This is something that applies to not just the NBA, but of course the NHL, Major League Baseball, even the NFL.

And there's probably a lot of people out there who would want the Steelers to do something like this, where you're not maybe intentionally losing games, but you're not making the best effort to be competitive just based on the roster that you put together.

It makes sense that a commissioner would try to stop tanking, right?

Because it's just not great for the game.

You have fans paying a lot of money to go see a team and you have no idea if that team's going to just decide to arbitrarily sit some of its best players.

However, for a fan...

I don't think that there's anything wrong with wanting to see your team tank.

I think it makes a lot of sense.

So I have a question of, is it okay for a fan to want that, even though the league doesn't want it?

And is there any solution?

Because probably what the NBA does, by and large, will eventually be adopted by the other sports.

In particular, I think hockey has a pretty similar calendar.

Football is different because you might see teams tank, but it might only be the last game or two of the season.

We see, I think, was it the Raiders-

One of the teams, maybe the Jets, they didn't even try to win the last game of the season because it was in their best interest not to win it.
