What I think I see from kale in the car is a player who said, I've got a lot of confidence
everything that's happening around me.
And so, hey, if you need me to, I'll pop up.
That's what he did in game one.
Kale McCarr went out and won the game in game one in the third period for the Colorado Avalanche.
So he's got that ability to pop up and do that.
But in the meantime, I think he's showing a lot of faith and confidence in his teammates and distributing the puck, getting around and just kind of playing a role on that team.
And hey, this is a team that's been there before, Kipper.
So he knows, as tough as this team is, and again, I think these may be the best two teams left in the playoffs, he also knows it's the second round.
And there's a third round to go and a fourth round to go.
We know we got a little bit banged up in that first game.
I see a player who's playing really smart, using everyone around him, having faith in his team that they can win and knowing that if they get to where they want to go, there is still a really, really long road ahead.
So you don't need to expend yourself at this time to get there.
Yeah, I mean, I think if you're the Colorado Avalanche, you really want to close this out tomorrow, right?
Like you do not want to expose yourself to the Foligno brothers bashing you around the way they've been doing in this series.
The hilarious conversation I had, guys, after that third game, Marcus Foligno had gone out in one of those early shifts of that game three.
Nick had thrown a really big hit.
And within 10 seconds, Marcus throws a bigger hit.
And he said to me in the dressing room afterwards, he was like, there was just something in me.
He made that hit and I needed to throw a bigger hit.
